Rode to Christina Ffery-- Where WAS that?

It's hard for us now to visualize the transportation situation in 1704. Indian trails led up the east coast, and there were certainly trails toward the former Swedish settlement and up towards Philadelphia. New Castle Common lands were bounded on the south by the road to Christina Bridge, now Christiana. The northeast border was the 'rode to Christina fferry'. We can guess the location of the ferry. The location of the road is more of a conjecture than certainty.
