A postcard of the waterfront between .. and Harmony. The card was produced for Challenger's drugstore (at ...) by the American News Company and lithographed in Germany. Cards with divided backs were printed after 1907; imports from Germany stopped with the war. The card shows the house removed by the Lairds, a boathouse or shop at the end of the Harmony Street wharf and at least 3 outhouses.

Back: This beautiful Georgian mansion was built by George Read II, sone of the signer of the declaration of independence and completed in 1801. Every room has a fireplace with decorated mantel. A fine collection of antique furniture including Queen Anne, Chippendale, Hepplewhite, Sheraton and Duncan Phyphe can be seen here.
